1961 thunderbird parts car for sale4/27/2024 ![]() ![]() The SelectAire air conditioning system and MagicAire heater/defroster are inoperative, the right-front kick panel is cracked, and holes are noted in the headliner. Additional equipment includes an AM/FM radio, and power windows. Blue carpets line the floors, while simulated wood trim accents the instrument panel, center console, door panels, and rear quarter trim panels. The driver’s seat is power-adjustable, and the reclining front passenger’s seat features an adjustable headrest. ![]() The car left the factory fitted with front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in White Pearl leather with Aqua accents (Q7). The car came equipped from the factory with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The 15″ steel wheels wear tri-spoke Thunderbird covers and are mounted with 215/75 Cordovan Centron tires. The seller notes that the black vinyl hardtop cover is faded and the right-side Thunderbird script is missing. Further details include a faux hood scoop, gun-sight front turn signals, rear fender skirts, and dual exhaust outlets. ![]() A wrap-around bumper is accompanied by quad headlights up front, while a pinched-loop-style bumper surrounds sequential taillights out back. The car left the factory finished in Patrician Green (U) with a black vinyl–covered Landau hardtop roof and was repainted under previous ownership. Acquired by the seller in 2017, this Thunderbird is now offered with a 1964 invoice, an owner’s manual, a shop manual, partial service records, a car cover, and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name. Further equipment includes a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a reclining front passenger’s seat, a swing-away steering wheel, and an AM/FM radio along with rear fender skirts and 15″ steel wheels with tri-spoke Thunderbird covers. Power is supplied by a 390ci V8 linked with a Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission and an Equa-Lock limited-slip differential. The car is finished in Patrician Green with a black vinyl–covered Landau hardtop roof over white leather upholstery. in Birmingham, Michigan, in December 1964.
